A painter originally from Nantes, who grew up in Essonne and is now based in Loire-Atlantique. Cédric Lopez began painting in 1987 within a Parisian graffiti collective, then studied at the École Supérieure d'Arts Appliqués Duperré in Paris. His work belongs to "Urban Pop Art": a blend of graffiti, street art, pop art, comics and abstraction. Technically, he combines spray, acrylic, oil, markers, collage and gold leaf, on canvas as well as on repurposed objects.
